GeoBIM for built environment condition assessment supporting asset management decision making

چکیده
The digital transformation in management of the built environment is more and evident. While benefits location data, from Building Information Modelling or Geographical Systems, have been explored separately, their combination - GeoBIM asset has never explored. Data collection for condition assessment challenging due to quantity, types, frequency quality data. We first describe opportunities challenges assessment. theoretical approach then validated developing an integrated model environment, a neighbourhood Milan, Italy. are collected, linked, processed analysed, through multiple software platforms, providing relevant information decision making. Good results achieved rapid massive data collection, improved visualisation, analysis. further testing development required, case study outcomes demonstrated innovation mid-term service-oriented potential proposed approach.

Supporting Cross Border Emergency Management Decision-Making
Volatile events such as public health disasters bring the prospect of rapid contagion and the threat of disastrous impacts for Europe. Vulnerabilities and cascading effects can result in significant injuries, illness and loss of life. Damage to health infrastructure, demand for medical attention, displacement and major outbreaks all place a strain on health services. Preparedness, response and ...
متن کاملSupporting data quality management in decision-making
In the complex decision-environments that characterize e-business settings, it is important to permit decision-makers to proactively manage data quality. In this paper we propose a decision-support framework that permits decision-makers to gauge quality both in an objective (context-independent) and in a context-dependent manner. The framework is based on the information product approach and us...
متن کاملQREME - Quality Requirements Management Model for Supporting Decision-Making
[Context and motivation] Quality requirements (QRs) are inherently difficult to manage as they are often subjective, context-dependent and hard to fully grasp by various stakeholders. Furthermore, there are many sources that can provide input on important QRs and suitable levels. Responding timely to customer needs and realizing them in product portfolio and product scope decisions remain the m...
متن کاملStudies of Sensor Data Interpretation for Asset Management of the Built Environment
Sensing in the built environment has the potential to reduce asset management expenditure and contribute to extending useful service life. In the built environment, measurements are usually performed indirectly; effects are measured remote from their causes. Modeling approximations from many sources, such as boundary conditions, geometrical simplifications, and numerical assumptions, result in ...
